Legal entity
The Heat Studios is operated by Avyrus Edge LLP, LLPIN ACZ-0958, with registered office. In this Policy, “THS”, “The Heat Studios”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that legal entity.
Who we are
The Heat Studios is a managed product-business execution studio. Depending on the agreed requirement, we may provide services directly or coordinate work involving specialist collaborators, manufacturers, packaging vendors, photographers, creators, developers, professional advisers and other service providers.
For privacy-related matters, the contact details set out in the “Grievance & contact” section below apply.
Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to personal information collected through our website and in connection with enquiries, discovery-call requests, requirement forms, proposals, projects and ordinary business communications with THS.
Where a specific form or service displays an additional privacy notice, that notice should be read together with this Policy.
This Policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian privacy and technology law, including provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as and when the relevant provisions become applicable.
Personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
- Contact information such as your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Business information such as your business or brand name, business stage and information you choose to share about your requirement.
- Discovery-call information such as what you would like to discuss, approximate budget range, preferred date, preferred time window and alternative timing.
- Requirement and project information such as product details, specifications, documents, references, approvals, files, account-access information and other materials reasonably needed for an agreed engagement.
- Communications exchanged with us by email, WhatsApp, telephone, forms or other business channels.
- Technical information that may be generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, referral information and security or server logs.
Please do not send sensitive, confidential or unnecessary personal information through a website form unless it is reasonably required for your enquiry or project.
How we use personal information
We use personal information only for legitimate business and lawful purposes connected with our relationship with you, including to:
- Respond to enquiries and understand what you are trying to get done.
- Review discovery-call and project requests and determine whether THS may be able to help.
- Contact you to confirm a preferred discovery-call slot.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, scopes, invoices and other project documentation.
- Deliver, coordinate and administer agreed services.
- Communicate about project inputs, approvals, dependencies, timelines and handovers.
- Maintain business, accounting, tax, compliance and operational records where required.
- Protect our website, forms, systems and users against spam, fraud, misuse and security incidents.
- Improve the usability, reliability and performance of our website and services.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Consent and communications
When a website form asks you to agree to be contacted, your information is used to respond to that request and manage the related interaction. Submitting a preferred call time does not itself create or confirm an appointment.
Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek consent in a clear manner and use the information for the purposes communicated at the time of collection.
You may withdraw consent for future processing that depends on consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully, and we may retain information where we have a legal or legitimate reason to do so.
We will not add you to promotional or marketing communications merely because you submitted a service or discovery-call enquiry unless we have an appropriate basis to do so.
International processing and service providers
Some technology providers used to operate the website or communicate with you may process or store information using infrastructure located outside India.
Where cross-border processing occurs, we will use service providers and arrangements that are reasonably appropriate for the service and will follow applicable restrictions under Indian law.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, our continuing business relationship with you, dispute resolution, security, record keeping and legal, tax or regulatory obligations.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and technical limitations such as routine backup cycles.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to our operations to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
- Access controls and limited access to information where reasonably appropriate.
- Use of reputable hosting, email and technology providers.
- Reasonable safeguards around credentials and project-access information.
- Spam and abuse controls on website forms.
- Operational procedures intended to reduce unnecessary collection and disclosure.
No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also use appropriate care when sending confidential information electronically.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of your request, you may contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you or request that inaccurate information be corrected, updated or erased.
You may also raise a grievance about our handling of your personal information or withdraw consent where our processing depends on your consent.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary for an existing agreement, required for fraud or security prevention, or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Children's personal information
THS is a business-services website and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children through our enquiry or service forms.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
Personal information supplied by clients for a project
A client may sometimes provide personal information relating to its employees, customers, creators, vendors or other individuals as part of an agreed project.
The client is responsible for ensuring that it is authorised to provide that information and that its instructions to THS are lawful. THS will use such information only as reasonably necessary for the agreed engagement, subject to the applicable project agreement and law.
Third-party websites and platforms
Our website may link to third-party websites or services, including social networks, marketplaces, technology platforms and partner websites.
THS does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Their own privacy policies and terms apply when you interact with them.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, website practices, technology providers or applicable legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Where a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.
